EFB (Enhanced Flooded Battery) batteries are more reliable and have a longer lifespan compared to standard lead-acid batteries, both in cars and commercial vehicles. EFB batteries also operate at a partial state of charge and do not require the deep cycle characteristics of AGM batteries. In fact, the coating material is polyester, which, when applied to the surface of the positive plate, helps stabilize the active material on the plates, increasing their autonomy. These batteries withstand double the cycles compared to traditional ones, endure a high number of engine starts, and long periods of engine off, with greater resistance to hot climates. They are ideal for cars with start & stop devices and for vehicles with installed devices that require a high energy level.
