Operating principles
The heart of the evaporative cooling system is the cooling panel, where water evaporates and the air passing through the panels is cooled. The evaporative cooling panels are made with cellulose sheets with grooves and glued together. The material is chemically impregnated with special compounds to prevent mold formation and ensure long life and easy maintenance.
Evaporative cooling and humidity
A certain volume of air at a certain temperature and pressure can absorb and retain a specific amount of water vapor. If this volume of air contains 50% of the humidity it can hold, it is said to be at 50% relative humidity.
The hotter the day and the drier the air, the more cooling can occur through evaporation. In other words, the cooling effect is better the more it is needed.
Our evaporative coolers are developed to work well even in high humidity environments; they are much more efficient than a simple fan that only circulates warm air.
Our coolers increase humidity by 2 to 5%, depending on the temperature and humidity of the environment you want to cool. The slight increase is not noticeable in ventilated areas, where the air produced by the unit disperses.
