The "Water Plus" purifier is a home appliance for the treatment of drinking water; the device is equipped with two filtration stations and a low voltage electrical component for the operation of a U.V. lamp.
The device reduces the presence of odors and tastes due to chlorine and other organic compounds; it also reduces the presence of pesticides, insecticides, chlorinated compounds, and unwanted odors.
The U.V. lamp exerts a "bacteriostatic" action.

Maintenance:

Maintenance is extremely important to ensure a long lifespan of your system and consistently optimal water quality.
The replacement of filter cartridges largely depends on operating conditions and especially on the quality of the water in your area. Typically, the lifespan of filter cartridges under normal usage conditions varies:
- 5-micron polypropylene flake cartridge: from 3 to 6 months, and not exceeding 3,000 liters;
- "Refiner" cartridge with food-grade carbon: not exceeding 3,000 treatable liters;
- U.V. sterilizing lamp: lasts approximately 8,000 hours.
Replacement should be done at least once a year.
